The kerosene piston aircraft engines developed by Thielert Aircraft Engines under the CENTURION® brand use state-of-the-art technology and, after decades of technological stagnation in the small aircraft market, have introduced a standard previously used only in jet engines. CENTURION® engines use about 40 percent less fuel than conventional engines and are able to extend the range of aircraft by up to 30 percent.

The company has two production facilities in Lichtenstein (Saxony) and Altenburg (Thuringia) and headquarters in Hamburg. Our team consists of around 280 highly-qualified and motivated experts in aviation manufacturing.
