In a ruling dated 1 July 2008 the Hamburg Local Court – Bankruptcy Court – ordered the opening of the insolvency proceedings regarding the assets of Thielert AG (reference number 67g IN 150/08) and appointed Dr. Achim Ahrendt, lawyer from Hamburg, as insolvency administrator.

Thielert AG operated solely as administrative department for the Thielert group. Because the function is no longer required Thielert AG has ceased business operations.
